Starting Fifth Year (Anyone)

Alexander walked back into the common room for yet another year at Durmstrang. He pulled his robes about him as he looked around for anyone he knew. In the absence of that he flopped on the couch and started reading. He’d decided to try out for the Quidditch Team this year, and wanted his moves perfected before the try out. He was interrupted out of his concentration on Quidditch through the ages when he heard someone enter the common room. He quickly looked up to see who had arrived.

[Lena]

Lena entered the room. It was empty. She saw only person there. He was looking at Lena. She looked nervously around the room trying to remember if she knew him. No dice. So she decided to start convesation: "Hello."

[Amy]

Amy entered the room, and saw a girl she didn't know.
"Hello", she said and looked at the girl. "I'm new here. Who are you?"

Alexander was surprised when not one, but two people he didn't know entered the room. He'd thought he knew most of their class. He replied to the first girl who'd said hello to him and nodded at the second who was obviously talking to the other girl and not him. He sat awkwardly, wanting to introduce himself but suddenly having a strange feeling he was intruding. He held the book in his hands loosely, using it as an excuse to pretend he had something better to do when in fact he was realy in the mood to chat.

[Lena]

Lena smiled at both of them. The boy looked very annoyed, but Lena was in talkative mood, so she said "Kak....oh, sorry I meant: What are your names?"

Alexander dropped all pretense of not wanting to talk and grinned at the girl addressing him, "Alexander." he replied holding his hand out to shake hers.

[Amy]

"Oh, of course, I forgot to tell you my name. I'm Amy Moon." Amy smiled at both of them.

Alexander nodded to Amy, "You both transfer this year?" he asked not having seen either girl before.

[Lena]

"I'm starting the fourth year..." said Lena and then she remembered : "Oh, and my name is Jelena Andrejevna, but I highly recomend you to call me Lena, it is much shorter." added Lena and smiled at both of them.

"My family calls me Sasha for much the same reason." Alexander admitted, shaking his head,
"but my friends call me either Alex or Xander."
he added partially admitting that he had no choice in the matter with his family, but his friends on the other hand were not going to get away with an old pet name.

[Lena]

"So it is better to call you Alex, isn't it" affirmed Lena

He nodded greatfully, "I like it much better." he wrinkled his nose at the thought of his family name.

[Lena]

Lena grinned. " Are you the oldest child in your family ?"

[DimietrievDynasty]

"We're tripletts, but by a few minutes, yes.." he grinned, "Anya's the youngest of us tripletts" he offered even though she probably had no idea who Anya was.

[Lena]

"Anya? Is she in Chevalseith?" asked Lena "I'm the youngest of our family... except Tuz, that's my sister's kneazle. It is awful to be the youngest...Everyone think that you are a baby." added Lena and shrugged.
